Fred Bedell-Educatiion Management Specialist has written two books highlighting the bright spots in the current educational system and shedding light on the practices that need improvement.

Issue-Politics-Education Funding- Years ago the public approved referendums  in states for establishing lotteries with the proviso that a percentage of the funds would be used for education programs.This did not happen. The funds to the best of my knowledge were deposited into general fund accounts which could be used at the discretion of the legislative body. In most cases the funds did not go to education programs.
